On Wednesday, October 2 at the Historic Academy of Medicine, the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry celebrated the tenure of Professor M.G. Finn as Chair. In eleven years as Chair, Finn elevated the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry to new heights of research and teaching excellence and helped us navigate the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. His record of excellence in leadership were on full display Wednesday in a program including talks by Prof. Jake Soper and Dean of the College of Sciences Prof. Susan Lozier.

The School is incredibly grateful for Prof. Finn's service and is excited to welcome Prof. Vicki Wysocki as our new Chair!
