Although earning a 4 or 5 on the AP Chemistry exam will provide credit for CHEM 1211K, taking CHEM 1211K at Georgia Tech is highly recommended for students who did not earn a 5 or have minimal laboratory experience.

We do not offer a placement exam for CHEM 1212K.  It is not possible to earn credit for CHEM 1212K through any sort of advanced standing or placement exam.
